Since our founding in 1966, our choir has been one of the region's premier choral organizations, known for artistic excellence, ambitious programming, and a steadfast commitment to enriching our community through choral music.

For fifteen seasons, Dr. Matrone has shared his musical artistry, dedication, and leadership with the ensemble, helping carry forward a rich tradition of choral excellence. His commitment to the music and the singers who bring it to life has been an important part of the organization's continuing story.

As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize Dr. Matrone's contributions to Springfield Singers and the countless hours of preparation, rehearsal, and performance that have shaped his years with the ensemble.
